Upcoming Pixar films

Upcoming Pixar movies.

The Bear and the Bow is an upcoming film and will be Pixar Animation Studios’ 13th animated feature film. The film will be directed by Brenda Chapman, produced by Katherine Sarafian and features the voices of Reese Witherspoon, Billy Connolly and Emma Thompson. The film will be released during the Christmas season of 2011.

“A rugged and mythic Scotland is the setting for Pixar’s action-adventure “The Bear and the Bow.” The impetuous, tangle-haired Merida, though a daughter of royalty, would prefer to make her mark as a great archer. A clash of wills with her mother compels Merida to make a reckless choice, which unleashes unintended peril on her father’s kingdom and her mother’s life. Merida struggles with the unpredictable forces of nature, magic and a dark, ancient curse to set things right. Director Brenda Chapman (“The Prince of Egypt,” “The Lion King”) and the storytelling wizards of Pixar conjure humor, fantasy and excitement in this rich Highland tale.”

newt will be Pixar Animation Studios’ 14th feature film. Gary Rydstrom will be making his full-length feature film directorial debut. Rydstrom also co-wrote the script with Leslie Caveny. The film was originally scheduled to be released during the summer of 2011 but was pushed back to 2012.

“What happens when the last remaining male and female blue-footed newts on the planet are forced together by science to save the species, and they can’t stand each other? That’s the problem facing Newtand Brooke, heroes of “newt,” the Pixar film by seven-time Academy Award(R) winner for sound Gary Rydstrom, and director of Pixar’s Oscar-nominated short, “Lifted.” Newt and Brooke embark on a perilous, unpredictable adventure and discover that finding a mate never goes as planned, even when you only have one choice. Love, it turns out, is not a science.”

1906 is a feature film being developed by Brad Bird at Pixar as the studio’s first all live-action movie. It is an adaptation of the novel of the same name written about the 1906 San Francisco earthquake.[1] Not much is known about the film or it’s release date. It is suspected to release in 2012 or 2013 after Newt.

Make your own Butterbeer

Hey Potter fans, ever wanted to actually find out what Butterbeer tastes like? Well apparently this recipe is how you can do just that. I make no gaurantee's because I havent tried it yet, but I plan to soon and when I do I will post the result. If anyone actually tries this out please leave a comment and tell me how you like it.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (8 oz) club soda or cream soda
  • ½ cup (4 oz) butterscotch syrup (ice cream topping)
  • ½ tablespoon butter

Directions:

Step 1: Measure butterscotch and butter into a 2 cup (16 oz) glass. Microwave on high for 1 to 1½ minutes, or until syrup is bubbly and butter is completely incorporated.

Step 2: Stir and cool for 30 seconds, then slowly mix in club soda. Mixture will fizz quite a bit.

Step 3: Serve in two coffee mugs or small glasses; a perfectly warm Hogwarts treat for two!

Cirque Du Freak

I cannot wait to see this movie! I’ve read the first five books in the series and hopefully this film lives up to its potential. Though personally I’m not thrilled about the casting of John C. Reilly. I dont mind that theyre changing Darren Shan’s age, I prefer to imagine him as 16 rather than 12 anyway.

Lots Of News For Demon Hunter

Demon Hunter has been going through some line-up changes recently. You may have heard that drummer Yogi is now the official drummer for The Showdown and Demon Hunter. Meanwhile, guitarist Ethan Luck has left Demon Hunter to work as Relient K’s full-time drummer. Patrick Judge, who filled for Luck on their recent live album "45 Days and 1 Night," is his permanent replacement. Finally, guitarist and founding member Don Clark has left Demon Hunter to pursue his graphic design career and to spend more time with his family. And although they didn’t mention him, the band has just posted a new press photo and it includes Randy Torres from Project 86. The most important announcement from the band though, is that they will be releasing a brand new album early in 2010. For more Demon Hunter news, link to the band’s MySpace page here.

I'm excited for the new album, but all these confusion with the band members is a bit much.
